Garden Box

Hope everyone had a great Easter! If you live in a city like me, you know it can be difficult to have a garden. Most apartments have little outdoor space, and mine has none, ugh! So I decided to plant a small indoor garden box.

Home Depot has a great selection of plants. I bought one tomato plant, one chive, two basil, organic miracle grow, and organic plant food (organic because I want to eat what I grow!) It's an easy way to get your apartment feeling and smelling like spring. I'm hoping I'll have lots of basil for pesto all summer. Don't forget to put your garden box near a window for sunlight!

    I too like leeks! Great onion alternative, DCsunflower !!! Perfectly served on top of a baked salmon filet with lemons

    Have any of you tried growing berries? Strawberry plants can be fun -- and they add great color!
